Taking Storypod on the Go!

Did you know that you can bring your Storypod with you wherever you go and play your Little Learner's favorite brain-building audio experiences without a WiFi connection? That's right! You can play all of your audio experiences Offline without an internet connection. You just need to download each one individually to your Storypod. Here's how:

  • Turn on your Storypod.
  • Wait to hear that you are connected to the internet.
  • Place one of your audio experiences on top of the Storypod.
  • When the blue light under your audio experience begins to "breathe," the download has started.
  • Once the blue light turns a steady blue, the download is complete.
    • You can check the status of your downloads by opening the Settings screen in your Storypod app and locating "Downloads." If you see "Up to date," then all downloads have been completed. If you see "Downloading," there is still time remaining.
    • You can also check the status of your download by tapping on "Downloading."
  • Now, your audio experience can be played offline!
  • Repeat these steps for each additional audio experience that you own until your entire collection has been downloaded successfully.

Once the downloads have been completed and you know that you are going to use Storypod offline, follow these quick instructions:

  • With Storypod powered on, you will need to open the Settings screen in the Storypod Parent app,
  • Tap on WiFi, and on the next screen, tap on "Turn off WiFi."

If these two steps are not done, Storypod will search for a WiFi connection the next time it is powered on and not play your collection items offline.
Now you and your Little Learner are ready for Storypod fun, WHEREVER you go!
***Please note that download times can vary depending on the speed of your WiFi internet download speeds. Usually, it can take about 20 minutes to download, but it can take the length of the content run time to be downloaded. A time-saving trick is to tap your audio experience on top of Storypod to get the download started and press "Pause." This way, Storypod is only attempting to download the content from the cloud and not attempting to play the content as well simultaneously.*
All audio experiences will show up in the Storypod app before the download has been completed.
